Frequently asked Questions
Do you work with insurance companies for collision repairs?
Yes, we work directly with all major insurance companies to streamline your collision repair process. We can communicate with adjusters, provide detailed estimates, and handle the paperwork on your behalf. While we accept insurance claims, we’re committed to restoring your vehicle to pre-accident condition using quality parts and proper repair techniques, not just meeting minimum insurance requirements.
Do you offer free estimates for collision repairs and restoration projects?
Yes, we provide free estimates for insurance collision repairs. For restoration projects, we offer complimentary initial consultations where we’ll assess your vehicle and discuss your goals.
What should I do immediately after a collision?
Did you know that you are allowed to go to any shop you prefer? Insurance companies lie their asses off to clients and force them to shops that are DRP’s. The client should chose a company for their Warranty not who will complete the work for the lowest amount. First, ensure everyone’s safety and call emergency services if needed. Document the scene with photos, exchange information with other parties, and file a police report. Contact your insurance company to report the claim, then give us a call. We can guide you through the next steps, arrange towing if necessary, and begin the estimate process. Don’t feel pressured to use your insurance company’s preferred shop. You have the right to choose where your vehicle is repaired.
Are your technicians certified and experienced with classic vehicles?
Nobody is “certified” but they do have an incredible amount of years of experience. Most of those guys are in their 60’s. Our team includes ASE-certified technicians with specialized training in both modern collision repair techniques and classic car restoration. Many of our staff members are lifelong automotive enthusiasts with decades of hands-on experience working with vintage vehicles. We understand that classic cars require different approaches, materials, and craftsmanship than modern vehicles, and our team has the expertise to do the job right.
Can you match the pain on my classic car if I need bodywork on just one panel?
Yes, we specialize in color matching for both modern and vintage vehicles. Classic car paint matching can be challenging due to faded original paint, discontinued colors, and period-specific finishes. We use advanced color-matching technology combined with traditional techniques to ensure seamless blends. For show-quality restorations, we can also recreate original factory finishes using period-correct materials and methods.
