Experienced Classic Car Mechanic
At Auto Art, we believe working on a car is about more than fixing a machine. It’s about taking care of the person who trusted us with it. Every new client who walks through our doors is a guest. We want their experience with Auto Art to be good enough that they never want to take their vehicle anywhere else.
That philosophy applies to everyone on our team, including our technicians.
If you take pride in your work, care about the vehicles you work on, and understand that how you treat a customer’s car matters just as much as how well you repair it, you may be a great fit here.
Know What You’ll Earn Every Week
Tired of wondering what your paycheck will look like?
At Auto Art, you’ll know what you’re earning every week. Consistent hourly pay. No feast-or-famine cycles. No chasing hours. No surprises.
You get to focus on what you do best: working on interesting vehicles and doing the job right.
About Auto Art
For more than 35 years, Auto Art has built a reputation for quality automotive repair, restoration, and craftsmanship.
We work on everything from vintage classics and muscle cars to custom builds and modern vehicles. Our shop is different from a high-volume repair facility. We care about the finished product, the experience we provide, and the reputation we leave with every customer.
Our culture is straightforward:
Respect your coworkers. Take care of the customer. Take care of the car. Do the job right.
No corporate nonsense. No micromanaging. No unnecessary drama.
Just a skilled team that takes pride in what we do.
The Position
We’re looking for an experienced Classic Car Mechanic who wants stability, interesting work, and a place where craftsmanship still matters.
You’ll work on a wide variety of vehicles—from vintage classics and muscle cars to custom builds and modern automobiles.
You’ll also be part of the customer experience.
That means treating every vehicle as if it belongs to someone you know, communicating when something needs attention, keeping the work area and vehicle protected, and delivering work you’re proud to put your name behind.
We don’t just want to repair someone’s car. We want to earn their trust for the next one.

- Stable Workload — No feast-or-famine cycles
- Interesting Work — Classics, muscle cars, custom builds, and modern vehicles
- Relaxed Environment — No micromanaging and no unnecessary drama

What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on automotive experience
- Classic car experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while being part of a team
- Someone who takes genuine pride in their craftsmanship
- Someone who understands that customer service isn’t just the front office’s job
- A positive, team-first attitude
- Someone who believes doing it right is more important than doing it fast
The Bottom Line
We’re looking for someone who loves cars, knows how to fix them, and cares about the people who own them.
At Auto Art, every new client is a guest, and our goal is to turn that guest into a lifetime client.
If that sounds like the kind of shop you want to work in, we’d like to meet you.
Join the Auto Art team. Build great cars. Build great relationships. Take pride in both.
Compensation Built Around You
Not everyone wants the same thing from a job, so we don’t believe everyone should get the same compensation package.
Some people want to maximize their paycheck. Others value more paid time off, a better work-life balance, or health benefits. We’ll sit down with you, learn what matters most to you, and build a compensation package around your priorities.
You tell us what matters. We’ll build the package together.Experience:
- Automotive repair: 5 years (Required)
